TIRANA, July 19 – After four months being vacant, Albania’s cabinet will have new justice and culture ministers.
Eduard Halimi will be the new justice minister to replace Bujar Nishani, who in April moved from that post to become interior minister instead of Lulzim Basha who is now Tirana’s mayor.
Aldo Bumci takes the post of the culture, youth, sports and tourism minister instead of Ferdinand Xhaferri, who had resigned also in March to run in the municipal polls.
Bumci has served as justice minister in Berisha’s previous cabinets.
Berisha’s decision will be decreed by the president and then voted in parliament.
The parliament’s last session is on Thursday.
