After the successive visits of some of the most celebrated names in the music industry (Jessie J, Giusy Ferreri, Bebe Rexha and Dua Lipa) in what seems to have become a tradition for the capital, Tirana will now be hosting another great performer during the White Night – Emeli Sandà©, the Scottish artist whose 2012 album became a hit in the UK, and stayed at the top of the billboards for about 10 weeks.
“The tradition continues; Tirana will be more illuminated than ever on the 29th of November, when the doors of art and culture will open for all citizens and the capital will give in to partying until dawn. This time, the amazing Emeli Sandà© will climb on stage, whom the Municipality of Tirana has invited to become part of a party that will reach its peak with this impressive concert for all the capital’s sleepless,” an official statement by Tirana’s Municipality said.
Meanwhile, Sandà© herself, who will be visiting Albania for the first time, referred to the concert in a personal Facebook post.
“I am excited to perform for the first time in Albania and participate at Tirana’s White Nights celebrations on November 29th, 2017,” Sandà©’s post declared.
