TIRANA, March 11 – A British judge ruled in favor of extraditing a Blackburn, UK man accused of sexually abusing young orphans in Albania. The case will now be sent to Home Secretary Jacqui Smith, who will make the final decision.
Dino Christodoulou, 44, a former charity worker, and Robin Arnold, 55, from Norwich, allegedly molested six victims aged between six and 13 at the His Children refuge in Tirana, where the two were working in 2004. A third Briton, David Brown, is in Albania awaiting trial.
Christodoulou and Arnold face allegations of “various sexual offences involving the children and of child abuse”.
Both men are in custody.
