TIRANA, Sept. 28 – On Sunday, October 2, the U.S. Embassy in Tirana will host a street fair from 11:00-17:00 in the pedestrian zone on Rruga Murat Toptani, near the city centre, to celebrate 20 years of renewed friendship between the people of the United States and Albania. “The Embassy re-opened officially on October 1, 1991, and in cooperation with the Municipality of Tirana and the Government of Albania, we will be sponsoring live music from a U.S Dixieland Jazz Band, along with talent and music from Top Channel, Vision +, and TV Klan, ” said the embassy in a statement
Food, beverages, karaoke, face painting and other activities will also be available.
