ELBASAN, March.13- Inspired from the Elbasan festivities of the Summer Days Festival last year, Tomislav Marijan Bilosnic published the book “Doves in the land of eagles” which was recently translated into Albanian from the publishing house Egnatia. 275 three line poems, known as Japanese haikus were thus the present that the Croatian author made on his 60th birthday to the haiku club in Elbasan. The book reflects the impressions of the author during his stay. The main object of inspiration seems to be nature, with the side of the wonderful mountain of Tomorri dominating the thoughts of the author. Haiku combines sporadic observations on elements of nature with a deep probe into philosophical and emotional sensations in a quest for truth. The publication is supported by the Albanian artist living in the Croatian island of Hvar, Viktor Perfundi. The Albanain editing was done by Milianov Kallupi and the graphics by Flamur Hudhri. The author has been invited to participate in this edition of the Poetic Summer days in Elbasan.
