KAKAVIE, Jan. 25 – Police blocked some 12 kilograms of marijuana being smuggled across the Greek border by bus at the Kakavie crossing.
The bus was traveling on the Tirana-Athens trip. The drugs were found while stored with underneath luggage. Kosta Gjini, 41, from Tirana, the brother of the bus owner, was arrested as the main suspect.
