“Everything in the play is a mini noir that keeps the storyline in tension, while the true purpose is to retell one more time that classical drama that was born since the beginning of mankind,” says Fani Zguro.
TIRANA, Feb. 2 – Albanian-born, Berlin based artist Fani Zguro, has been selected the curator of “A doll’s House” contemporary art exhibition which is being displayed in Milan. Put on display as part of the Satellite Project launched in 2011, a Doll’s House features a group show bringing together eight international artists as a satellite project for contemporary art.
“Everything in the play is a mini noir that keeps the storyline in tension, while the true purpose is to retell one more time that classical drama that was born since the beginning of mankind. Through this exhibition I am trying to bring back Ibsen’s concern, even though the difference is considerable. However, I do believe it will be worth it to try to illustrate Ibsen’s play through the works that I have selected,” says Fani Zguro.
In order realize and present a project, Satellite Project collaborates with one or many art institutions. The only contact link that the Project has is a website where all the activities are monitored and documented. This way, Satellite Project overcomes the territorial philosophy by presenting different projects and expositions in different places, wherever a serious useful and intelligent network is built in order to conclude the final stage of these projects.
