TIRANA, Feb. 4 – Interior Minister Bujar Nishani on Monday turned down all opposition claims of a lack of law and order in the country saying that accusation was made for political purposes.
Nishani mentioned the authorities’ success in fighting down many criminal gangs of the drug and other trafficking. He said there were hit 131 criminal gangs and arrested some 503 persons.
In a counterattack Nishani said that before their governing many alleged criminal persons were nominated in high public posts.
