Italo-Albanian Project for Tirana

Last week, at the Palace of Brigades in the capital, an Italo-Albanian project to recuperate and assess heritage in buildings and monuments in the city of Tirana got underway. The project is entitled, “The traces of Italian architecture and town planning in Tirana.” At this meeting was the Albanian Minister of Culture Ylli Pango, Italy’s Ambassador to Albania Atillio Massimo Iannucci, the Direct or of the Institute of Cukltural Monuments Apollon Bace, who delivered a technical report on Albanian architectonic assets and the Italian influence during the thirties and forties. Later on the study, “Albania, Architetura e Citta 1925-1943” was presented, a study of Albanian and Italian co-authors.
