TIRANA, Oct. 25 – The Defense Ministry reported that a joint military exercise was held in capital Tirana on how to cope with emergency situations.
The South Eastern Europe Simulation-10 training exercise was held after the meeting of the defense ministers held two weeks ago.
Deputy defense ministers and army chiefs of staff were present at the ceremony held Sunday.
The United States and Sweden were supporting countries taking part at the exercise.
The SEESIM 10 aimed at promoting cooperation and inter-operation among the European south eastern countries and also the international organizations in resolving the emergency situations.
The exercise served as a training center for 15 other places. That was the fifth exercise of the kind.
