On 29 April 2008 an exhibition was opened in the venues of the European University of Tirana called, “Memories of the future,” by an artist from Vlora who lives and works in Austria, Fatmir Velaj. On this occasion a catalogue by the artist with photographs and essays in Albanian and German, was also promoted. Different critics, Albanian and foreign have described Fatmir Velaj as a painter who has understood how to make an impact in the world of figurative arts with his artistic manifestations and personal talent.
