TIRANA, June.19- This years celebration of MjAft Fest will be held in the Tropicl Beach of Durres on July 20-21. MJAFT Fest is one of the first and largest festivals in Albania featuring contemporary live music in open air on the most beautiful beach of South Albania. The festival is known as a place of extraordinary fun and exuberant atmosphere on the beach as well as the beauty of the mountains surrounding it. The music program it offers varies from Balkan Fusion, Progressive, Deep Down & Dirty, Electronic Beats to Alternative Rock, Dub and Reggae. This year, groups like Sidecar, Morcheeba, Alif will be complemented by Djs like Linus and Moshic that will fire up the atmosphere for all fans of modern music. The organizers will provide bus transportation from Tirana and accommodation will be diverse using campsites as the traditional way of living up to the spirit of Mjaft Fest.
MJAFT Fest was released to counteract the apathy that dominated and, unfortunately, still is found within the departments of the government that are engaged in promoting art and culture in Albania. It is a one of a kind show, praised because it brings back hope for the outlook of domestic music and audiences in Albania.
