TIRANA, Feb. 28 – The opposition Socialists said Wednesday that Igli Cela would be their candidate to run for the post of parliamentarian in Shijak in March 11 election. The post has remained empty after former MP of the Democratic Party Sokol Olldashi resigned from the post when he entered the race for Tirana mayor Feb. 18 local polls. Olldashi also resigned from the interior minister’s post. Cela has been Shijak’s mayor during 2003-2007.
