DURR̓, SHKODRA, May 7
– Bujar Zajmi opened his exhibition
at Priftuli art gallery in the
western port city of Durres with
some 30 works.
Many art lovers, artists and
other personalities took part at
the opening ceremony Tuesday.
All the works have been
worked upon by Zajmi after the
fall of communism in 1990,
covering parts of the Albanian
life and personal emotions from
the painter. That was the second
exhibition this year opened by
the painter in the western port
city. This exhibition is open for
10 days. Russian painter Tatyana
Vavrzina presented her 30-year
old works in the northern city of
Shkodra following those in capital
Tirana and southeastern
Korca. Her 50 works covered
views from her homeland but
also from Albania and other European
countries. She basically
paints portraits, landscapes and
calm nature in oil. During her
career Vavrzina has opened
some 500 exhibitions all around
the world. It will be open for
five days. (Tirana Times Staff)
