TIRANA, Nov 25 – Prosecutor Arjan Ndoja of the Durres office declared Tuesday he was resigning from his post in order to let free the transparency institution to check and investigate his personal account.
Ndoja was accused by the High Inspectorate of Property Declaration and Control of hiding the origin of some 86,000 Euros out of his amount of 743,000 Euros.
Ndoja said that he had worked as a private lawyer before taking the post in January.
At the same time Prosecutor general Ina Rama suspended him from the post at the top of prosecutor’s office in Durres, thus opening the way to his investigation.
