TIRANA, July 26 – The archive of the public television station TVSh is threatened to be lost because of improper protection and storage.
Some seven million meters of films since the 1960s cover many developments in the country, but they have no place where they are preserved with the proper technical conditions, experts say.
Parts of the TVSH building will soon be occupied by the Albanian Telegraphic Agency, following a parliamentary decision earlier this week.
The ATA building will be used by other public institutions that are now to be temporarily moved from their offices as the building in front of the main government office is being rehabilitated and enlarged.
