TIRANA, May.27- In a final concert organized at the place of Congresses, the popular music festival, Top Fest, organized by the Top media group awarded 14 prizes to Albanian singers and groups from other countries Albanians live in. The festival, in its fourth year, has a strong national identity with most entries coming from Kosovo, Macedonia, as well as Albania. The festival heard hundreds of entries over three months and chose only 36 songs for the final night. The glamorous night, with music and artistic performance, lasted beyond midnight. The audience had come all from as far as Pristine and Tetovo in buses filled with fans of the program. Top Fest is well-known for providing an important opportunity and needed exposure to new singers and groups.
The biggest prize, worth 10.000 euros, was decided based upon messages sent by viewers and was awarded to young singer Greta Koci.
