TIRANA, Feb.26- The well-known and experienced reporter Fatos Baxhaku has recently published a book, a collection of his stories under the title ‘Stone’ (Gur) The real life stories presented in Baxhaku’s book create a full history of the developments in Albania seen under the scrutinizing eye of the journalist. ‘Stone’ includes more than sixty reports, diverse stories form the north and the south of the country written mostly for the newspaper ‘Shqip’ for which Baxhaku is a close collaborator and regular contributor. He had also carried televised reports under the tile ‘tunnel’ for Vizion plus channel. The idea of the author is to present the other Albania, the one beyond the news of the moment and beyond the tight breathing space of politics. “Albania is a long sad story” said Baxhaku commenting on the spirit of the book published by “Papirus”, which includes also photos taken during the traveling done for the reportages. The book also has a cycle called “the cycle of Ceni” which uses a different style of narration and connects to a wider audience.
