45th Albanian Song Festival

Who are the VIP guests?
Impossible to keep secret the names of the VIPs invited to put in a guest appearance at the 45th Albanian Radio Television Song Festival being organized in Tirana at the Palace of Congresses on 21 and 23 November. It has been the custom over the years for the names of the invited VIPs to be kept secret. But the word is out. The VIPs invited are the well known Albanian singer Aurela Gace, the Italian Michelle Zarillo and Don Backy, the idol of Italian song in the sixties.
The Italian singer Michele Zarillo, known to the Albanian public through one of his most well known hits, “Una Rose Blu,” was one of the special guests who sung on the first night of the festival. Another guest performer of the festival of second night of the festival was Don Backy. While from among the Albanian VIPs, Aurela Gace was the special guest singer. She came from the United States for this guest appearance on the final night of the festival.
During the nights of the festival, the Orchestra of the Academy of Arts also performed. The Festival was presented by Adi Krasta, the Kosovo singer Vesa Luma and the Actress Ermela Teli.
32 songs competed in this edition of the festival, from amongst which 2 were selected from the Nights of the Youth which were held at the Venue Club on the 4th and 5th of December.
Only two days before it began the names of the members of the panel of judges were made public, made up of specialists from the field of culture and art in the country.
The Song Festival this year was conceived as a special edition on the occasion of its 45th anniversary, in the context of which a Gala Festival was also organized.
