VLORA, Aug. 15 – Police reported Tuesday they had found 180 cannabis plants at the Perroi I Koqinit place in Vlora district. The cannabis was planted in three places but no owners have yet been identified or made known by the police. The land has legally no owner, another way cannabis planters exploit not to be directly penalized by the law. Recently police have found the cannabis growing in a no-man’s-land and cannot accuse any person. Separately police arrested Agron Velaj, 30, from Fieri who was under an international arrest warrant issued from Italy for drug trafficking. Velaj was arrested in Shkodra.
