OTRANTO, Oct. 3 – Two hundreds kilograms of marijuana were found Tuesday by the Italian police in two speedboats that had crossed the Adriatic Sea from Albania to Otranto, Italy. It is believed they had left the seaside in Vlora and Fieri when they were noticed by the Italian Guardia di Finanza. It is also believed the two speedboats were driven by five persons who fled after abandoning the boats. Three days ago the Guardia di Finanza managed to stop a speedboat with nine people on board, trying to illegally cross the sea. It had left the Vlora shore at Karaburun. The speedboat owner, a 42-year old man, was taken to Italian police.
