TIRANA, Oct. 25 – A poll showed that Albanian students studying abroad are not determined and convinced they would return to work in their country upon graduation. The poll was conducted with the participation of 704 students of the International Network of Albanian Students’ Associations, Albstudent. It questioned students from Albania, Macedonia and Kosova. Results showed that more than half of the 475 students from Albania are not determined they will return and only one-fourth says they will come back. Others, 12.21 percent, say they will live in Albania and abroad and only 10.53 per cent deny completely that they will return home. In Kosova they questioned 159 students and 52 in Macedonia. Their results do not differ much from the Albanian proper ones. The poll showed that studying economics was the most preferred for these students with 27.58 percent, followed by sociological sciences 26.32 percent and 18 percent with technical and IT sciences. The network is made up of some associations and it compiled the questions with online contacts.
