Government helps quake affected areas

TIRANA, Oct. 25 – The government decided Wednesday to offer some help to the communes and town halls in Vlora and Gjirokastra districts that were affected by the tremors in June and August this year. The total amount for all the areas is 6.8 million lek. Himara town would get some three million leks. It was most affected by the August quakes, especially the villages of Pilur, Kudhes, Vuno and Qeparo.
