Sweden helps Korca process rigid remnants

KORȁ, Oct. 31 – Korca will have a center to process the solid waste funded from the Swedish Agency for International Development (SIDA), part of a 20 million Euro project to be applied over 20 years. It is planned that by 2008 the center will become profitable. It has employed some 30 persons, all from the Roma community. The waste collected at the center will be sent to other countries to process them. The project will be spread in surrounding communes and then the whole Korca district.
