“The houses that shape Tirana” by German artist Geongrich were projected on Tuesday opposite the Pyramid in Tirana. With Curator Stefano Romano, Tirana conceived by the German artist was presented in all its urban development. “Tirana, with an Italian urban plan, was built during the invasion of World War Two, after fifty years of communist dictatorship and it is seeking its identity amidst the high rise buildings and the tile roofed houses,” the Curator of this performance said prior to the show.

Erik: Urban planning in my opinion
Erik Goengrich is a German artist who introduces his perceptions on the city of Tirana. These perceptions are accompanied by several questions related to the urban planning, and with drawings which propose new buildings in Tirana. The drawings proposed and the questions of the author on the new buildings planned were projected from a vehicle onto the walls of the city and with the last stop, on the walls of the Pyramid. Goengrich lives in Berlin and creates special works in different states. He was invited to Tirana by the IATB, Institute of Contemporary Art in Tirana to realize a project that deals with the current situation of town planning in the city.
