TIRANA, Oct. 24 – Academicians protested Tuesday the new government initiative to close many research institutions which are part of the Academy of Sciences. They said that would seriously damage their work. Presenting their opposition to the government were the well-known personalities in different spheres like Jorgo Bulo, Luan Omari or Heqim Sulstarova who said the effort was not based on good reasoning. The case was also exploited from the opposition expressing its concern for the reform at the Academy saying that would turn down the sweat of many decades of the academicians.
