GJIROKASTRA, Oct.3 – A joint Albanian-Greek team of archaeologists started working this week at the ancient Antigonea site in Gjirokastra trying to give a new look to the 200-year old site. The team will work to make more discoveries at the site to achieve the complete view of the town. The ancient town was discovered following work some 40 years ago. Engjellush Serjani, head of the management team of the park, hailed the government funding for the creation of a new management structure in an effort to give an impetuous to the discovery work.
