TIRANA, Oct.2 – Argita Berisha, or Malltezi, daughter of Albanian Prime Minister Sali Berisha’s daughter said she owns more than $1 million worth of real assets, adding that she had won that property without political influence of her father. Argita spoke about her assets in a television interview with Klan TV. She said she decided to disclose her fortune although not obliged to by law in order to throw away and deny rumors by the opposition Socialists that she had won wealth because of support secured as daughter of the country’s prime minister. Argita said everything she owns was acquired through her job with the international institutions in Kosova where her husband had also worked during the past five years.
