TIRANA, Oct. 25 – A woman named Miranda Alla, 53, was injured Wednesday morning, stabbed allegedly by an insane man named Artan Lleshi, 24. Alla, a secretary at the office of the monarchist political group headed by Dashamir Shehi, was at her office at the Shallvare apartments when Lleshi entered and stabbed her, allegedly after trying to rape her. Alla was not in life-threatening conditions but had serious injuries. Police arrested Lleshi only 20 minutes after learning that he allegedly committed the crime in Fushe Kruje, as he tryed to flee the capital Tirana. At his house police found a Kalashnikov and some 320 rounds of bullets and also 90,000 lek he had robbed from Alla. Lleshi is a suspect in two other crimes of rape earlier this year.
