Mustafaj hails new U.N. Secretary-General

TIRANA, Oct. 10 – Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj held a telephone conversation with the new United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-moon from South Korea who follows Kofi Annan. The new official confirmed to Mustafaj that Kosova’s status would top his priorities fro the start of his job Jan. 1 next year. Mustafaj assured him of Albania’s continues support during his term. “We would especially ask for your attention on joint efforts that the Balkan countries should do to build a region of peace and prosperity for all the peoples,” said Mustafaj.
