BUCHAREST, Oct.1 – The bust of the Albanian renaissance personality Naim Frasheri was put at the park in the Romanian capital Bucharest alongside world personalities like Balzac, Victor Hugo, Tolstoy, Eminescu, Pet즬 etc. Albanian Foreign Minister Besnik Mustafaj was present at the ceremony held during the days of the Francophone meeting held in Bucharest. “During the whole history of our two countries culture has been the most efficient in our relations,” said Mustafaj at the ceremony. “Though Naim Frasheri did not put his feet in Romania he published his works here where Albanian patriotic associations held their activities during the 19th century preparing the national renaissance and Albania’s independence. Naim Frasheri was the poet singing to love for human being and humanity and that is why his nation may be anywhere,” he said, adding he was turned into the messenger of peace and understanding and harmony among people.
