TIRANA, Oct. 31 – New Canadian Ambassador in Albania Alexander Himelfarb met Tuesday with Albanian President Alfred Moisiu and Prime Minister Sali Berisha. Moisiu expressed his country’s interest in further strengthening ties with Canada in the spheres of economy and especially energy and appealed for more Canadian investors in the country. Berisha and Himelfarb expressed their determination to increase ties between the two countries. Berisha thanked him for Canada’s assistance to Albania and also participation in KFOR NATO-led troops in Kosova.
