LIBRAZHD, Oct. 20 – A modest ceremony in the eastern town of Librazhd commemorated the work of two poets of the town, Genc Leka and Vilson Blloshmi, who were executed from the communist regime. The ceremony, organized by the league of artists of Elbasan and the Librazhd town hall and the Qukes commune, started with a minute of silence honored by all participants coming from all around the country. Many speeches remembered the work of the poets, that was also read and recited. Leka and Blloshmi were executed from the communist regime that considered their work as running counter to the communist propaganda. (Tirana Times Staff)
