TIRANA, April.7 – Raiffeisen Bank has sponsored an activity in which students from finance and Business departments of the Economics Faculty have an opportunity to virtually invest 1 million pounds. Head of the bank’s presence in Albania, Steven Grunerud has expressed is special interest in the activity that stimulates practical knowledge of the students. Raiffeisen Bank’s strategy goes with the motto “we help those that help themselves” The project has engaged the graduating Finance students in a two month portfolio preparing time. They could choose between 46 companies. The dean of the faculty Dhori Kule has also expressed his confidence that these students will be able to face the demands of the actual market with creativity and integrity. Sherif Bundo, the professor who has first introduced the practice as a requirement for graduating students has moderated the 4 hours presentation of the investment strategy.
