TIRANA, Oct. 2 – Agriculture Minister Jemin Gjana met Monday with the new head of the USAID office in Albania Edward Landau. Gjana introduced to the new U.S. official the government program and strategy on agriculture and priorities. Gjana also asked Landau for increased U.S. support for the country’s agriculture. Landau said that his country was following several projects on agriculture in Albania and pledged more contacts to identify other spheres of interest in the country.
