Extraditions from Netherlands, Italy

TIRANA, Feb. 15 – Police reported that they had extradited from The Netherlands Fredi Aliaj who had been sentenced to 20 years imprisonment for murder.
Aliaj, 30, was extradited from Amsterdam. In 2007 the Tirana Grave Crime Courts had sentenced Aliaj for a murder he had committed in 2004 in the western port city of Durres.
In another move police also extradited Gentian Lici, 34, from Rome, Italy.
An itnernational arrest warrant was issued for him after he had been sentenced to 15 years in collaboration with three other persons imprisonment for ilegal human trafficking. He had been sentenced in 2002 for trafficking a woman, exploiting the difficult economic situation of her family.
Following her transport to Italy, her mother had launched an indictment. In 2006 Lici had been sentenced to imprisonment. He was arrested in June last year by the Italian police.
Police also reported that Tonin Zef Vata, 42, was extradited from Rome, Italy to serve his 14 years imprisonment in his homeland. Vata has been sentenced for a murder he committed in 1998.
At the same time Riza Sulo Pleparaku, 50, was extradited from Greece. He will serve 25 years of imprisonment, also for murder.
