SHKODRA, April 9 – Police in the northern city of Shkodra arrested a French national, Victor Raymond Saint Val, 20, and charged him with smuggling stolen cars.
The Frenchman told police the car in his possession had been stolen in France and brought to Albania to be sold.
He was detained at the Murriqan border crossing point with Montenegro while driving a BMW X5 car.
According to police, Saint Val had also entered Albania with two other stolen cars on two pervious occasions. (Tirana Times Staff)
