DURRES, VLORA, Nov. 30 – Police arrested in the western port city of Durres Mirjam Mecka, 20, a student, while he was transporting cannabis sativa he aimed at distributing in the southeastern Korca district.
Police found 43.7 grams of cannabis sativa he had packed in 13 bags. It was planned to be sold at Fan Noli University dormitory in Korca.
On Tuesday police reported they had seized 250 kilograms of cannabis sativa and arrested two persons in the southwestern port city of Vlora.
The drug was found at a car coming from Saranda. Police believed it was planned to be taken to nearby Italy.
