TIRANA, Aug 5 – Police arrested an Albanian-French citizen while trying to illegally cross the border with a child.
Miranda Gomez, 32, was arrested while trying to cross the border at Tirana International Airport Mother Teresa together with a seven-year old child who resembled her own.
It was learnt that the child had his mother living in France, and allegedly Gozes was trying to take that to the mother probably for a consideraqble amount of money.
Airport police also arrested another woman, Daniela Cema, 27, wanted for falsification. An arrest warrant was issued for the woman who had been sentenced to six months imprisonment and a fine of 400,000 leks from the Korca district court for falsifying documentas.
