TIRANA, April.24 – GOLD installation to enable expansion from 1 warehouse and 3 shops to an additional 20 shops and a warehouse during 12 months. Euromax, one of the leading retailers in Albania and part of the Mane TCI group, have successfully deployed Aldata GOLD Central, GOLD Shop and GOLD Stock in just three months. The original agreement between Aldata and Euromax was signed in December 2006 and the implementation project started in January 2007.

Currently, Euromax has one warehouse and three shops (two supermarkets and one hypermarket), and has a product range of more than 30 000 products from 1 500 different suppliers. Euromax plans to expand its retail chain and has plans to open 20 additional stores and a warehouse in the next twelve months. ‘The successful and rapid implementation of GOLD for Euromax is proof of Aldata’s comprehensive retail and technology expertise,’ said Ivan Guzelj, CEO of Aldata Slovenia.’ Furthermore, it strengthens our market credibility in being one of the very few retail software vendors who is able not only to provide a complete and core retail solution but who can rapidly implement and deliver the solution into production in such short timescales’. During the implementation, Euromax were also able to benefit from technology changes to enable centralized business management and from the re-organization of business processes including procurement, sales and product service.
