TIRANA, July 30 – In a sign that he is going to be the next prime minister, leader of the main opposition Socialist Party Edi Rama made a reaction to words from the new Serb president, Tomislav Nikolic that Serbs in Kosovo were suffering a genocide there and that their areas could be divided.
Writing in his personal Twitter page, Rama said that “Serb craziness had gone up to the head of powers in Belgrade through Nikolic” saying that the accusation of a genocide against Serbs in Kosovo was an “idiot” reaction.
That could be a normal reaction from Rama, one would say. But likely that also shows that he is getting ready, preparing himself and the international community to get used to him as the next premier in Tirana.
Rama has not been involved so much in the international issues. Only recently he has tried to make trips to Kosovo, Macedonia and Montenegro where ethnic Albanians live in an effort to secure better acceptance from them.
