Turkey’s Kurum gets Durres Port container concession

TIRANA, Feb. 6 – The Albanian government has awarded Turkey’s Kurum a 35-year concession contract to manage the container terminal in Durres Port, the country’s biggest. The deal was signed this week by Transport Minister Sokol Olldashi and Kurum representatives.
Speaking after the signing of the deal, Olldashi said Kurum would invest USD 35 million in the terminal, further developing the port.
