Ammunition found in southern Gjirokastra

GJIROKASTRA, Nov. 26 – Anti-tank shells were found at Drino river following a phone call to the police station. Twelve shells were found in three boxes some 500 meters from Gjirokastra city. Police have started investigation to find the ‘owners’ of the ammunition which is believed to have been hidden since the anarchic year of 1997 when army depots were open and looted from the population.
