Government warns business to insure employees

TIRANA, Feb. 18 – Labor Minister Kosta Barka warned businesses in the country that authorities will begin to check whether they insure their employees.

Barka’s comments came during a visit to the cement factory CBMI in Fush뮋ruj롬ast week.

The government will also work to secure normal working conditions during discussions with business managers and the trade union representatives.

The cement factory, whose concession has been issued to the English-Lebanese company, employs some 500 persons producing 3,000 tons of cement a day.
