TIRANA, Nov. 21 – The launch of a new investment fund is expected to give a new boost to this emerging market which has considerably slowed down in the past couple of years due to a sharp decline in government security yields waning investor interest. The launch in August 2016 of Credins Premium, a new investment fund whose majority stake is held by Albanian-owned Credins bank, currently the country’s third largest lender, is also expected to break the monopoly held in this market by Raiffeisen Bank, the country’s traditional largest lender.
