ELBASAN, Oct. 11 – Police arrested Gentian Vercani and have accused him of a murder committed four years ago.
Vercani, 37, is accused of killing Behar Kusi, 44, in 2006.
Police reported they had made the verification following intensive investigations on a cold case file with the help of modern techniques.
In Tirana, Shpetim Ahmetaj, 45, was arrested for falsifying documentation.
Police believe he has falsified notary public documentation for social insurance asking for a 800,000 leks of compensation.
The false documentation made from him belonged to a person who had passed away four years ago.
