AMC lends a green hand in Saranda

TIRANA, March 29 – Representatives of AMC and from the Municipality of Saranda have planted the last symbolic tree of 174 linden trees that the mobile company has donated to the southernmost Albanian coastal town of Saranda. The initiative was part of AMC Green, a dedicated program that has been contributing to the Albanian environment since several years.
“AMC’s contribution to the development of green spaces in the city of Saranda is part of our continuous commitment, as well as an effort to influence other stakeholders to contribute to improving the environment of public spaces through this positive model,” said Pericles Kanellos, Director of Sales Division at AMC. The Chairman of the Municipality of Saranda, Mr Stefan ȩpa, thanked AMC as the first company to respond to the invitation for cooperation. He acknowledged AMC’s initiative, which stands for an important contribution to the green areas in the city.
AMC successfully concluded the planting of 174 linden trees in the city of Saranda, an important tourist destination with a significant impact on the regional and national development. Work on this project started in December. Previous AMC activities on the development of green territories in the country include the forestation of several areas in the National Park of Llogara, as well as the creation of green territories in Tiran묠Sarand묠Durr쳠and Kam캮
