TIRANA, Nov. 2 – President Ilir Meta conducted three separate meetings today, with the Ambassadors of the Republic of Finland, the Kingdom of Thailand and the Republic of Kazakhstan. Each of the Ambassadors presented Meta with the Credential Letters of their new post.
Meta first met the Ambassador of Finland, Juha Markus Pyykkà¶, who resides in Athens, and congratulated him for Finland’s 100 year independence anniversary, in addition to thanking him for the precious support Finland has given Albania in the context of the European integration.
The same procedure was followed with the Ambassadors of Thailand, Tana Weskosith, and Kazakhstan, Abzal Saparbekuly, who respectively live in Rome and Ankara. While these embassies don’t have an official representation in Tirana and these ambassadors are non-resident, they closely observe and maintain cooperation ties with Tirana in terms of diplomacy and events.
