TORONTO, Feb. 1 – Among the most active companies traded last week on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange was Bankers Petroleum Ltd. (TSX:BNK) which also has a presence in Albania.
The unconventional oil developer reported it will buy a half-interest in the right to evaluate and redevelop the Kucova heavy oil field in south-central Albania, with an option to purchase the remaining half. Financial terms of the agreement with a private company were not disclosed.
