TIRANA, Nov. 9 – NAAC welcomes the vote taken by the Council of EU Interior Ministers to scrap the visa requirements for Albania.
NAAC congratulates Albania for passing another important step towards its full integration into the European Union. This is an important moment milestone achieved by all the countries in the Balkans for the commitment displayed towards fulfilling EU requirements.
NAAC calls upon EU leadership to direct its attention to Kosova, which remains as the only country in the Balkans left outside the EU’s Schengen visa free travel agreement. Albania has made historic achievements and stands united as a member country of the UN, IMF, World Bank, and NATO and we look forward to it becoming a full member of the European Union. NAAC congratulates the people of Albania, its government, and all Albanians for this historic accomplishment
